Multiple Accounts

To maintain a transparent and honest marketplace for car parts, we strictly allow only one account per user. Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits, manipulate listings, or avoid penalties is against our policy and may result in all associated accounts being closed.

Phone Number Verification

We ask all users to verify their phone numbers to ensure they are real individuals and to assist in recovering lost or compromised accounts.

The Process: During signup, enter your mobile number.
The Code: You’ll receive an automated SMS with a 4-digit OTP (One-Time Password).
The Finish: Simply enter that code into the app to verify your identity.

Account Limitations, Suspensions, and Closures

We strive to keep the Motorepo "garage" safe and professional. Certain activities may result in a limitation on your account or permanent closure, including:

Prohibited Items: Listing or selling items like deployed airbags, hazardous chemicals, or stolen car parts.
Prohibited Conduct: Engaging in harassment, off-platform transactions, or fraudulent behavior.
Terms of Service Violations: Repeated breaches of the platform rules.
High-Risk Behavior: Frequent order cancellations or failing to complete checkouts.

Why Is My Account Limited?

Scenario	What It Means	Our Action
Questionable Activity	We suspect unauthorized access, identity theft, or receive alerts from the CBN or our payment processors regarding unusual transaction patterns.	We limit your account to protect your data and funds while we investigate.
High-Risk Behavior	You have an unusually high number of cancelled orders, or we receive high volumes of returns and chargebacks from your buyers.	We limit the account to protect the buyer community from poor seller performance or potential fraud.
Policy Violations	Your account is flagged for selling prohibited automotive parts or engaging in deceptive practices.	We put active listings on hold and may request identity verification or proof of ownership (receipts) to ensure compliance.
